Approximate reference values for Group 2.2. For verified P-T ratings across the full temperature range, consult ASME B16.5 Table 2-2.2. Ratings decrease substantially above 200°F (93°C). Duplex F51 uses a different material group with higher ambient-temperature ratings.

Austenitic stainless Group 2.2 ratings at Classes 150 and 300 are marginally lower than carbon steel equivalents due to the lower ambient-temperature yield strength of austenitic grades (170 MPa minimum vs. ~250 MPa for A105). The crossover occurs at elevated temperatures, where stainless retains strength better.
