Pipe-to-Socket Fit Checker
Confirm which socket weld flange your pipe drops into. The socket bore is machined to the pipe outside diameter (OD) — and because OD is constant for a given NPS, every schedule of that size fits the same socket. Schedule changes the wall thickness and inside bore, not the fit.

Socket bore values follow pipe OD per ASME B16.5 / B36.10M. We verify pipe OD against socket bore at the quotation stage so the wrong schedule never reaches the line. Maintain the 1/16″ (1.6 mm) bottoming gap at fit-up.
